Social Responsibility

Social responsibility is a huge thing and educators should teach it responsibly. The future of social responsibility is changing and evolving. Students need to understand how to be socially aware when roaming the internet. The social platform is being used for everything. Students are using it for religion, school, and personal use. Students need to be taught that not every website is truthful or insightful. Also, it is the duty of the educator to educate the students about tough situations that most people are afraid to touch on based on their fear of being called insensitive. “Education is about opening minds, creating new knowledge” (Educators and social responsibility: What this means to informed citizenry, 2020).

The future is bright and with all that has happened in the past recent years, educators will be teaching about things people want to keep hidden. Every student should be aware of the different things happening in the world and how to be socially responsible online. “Educational institutions around the world are aware that providing a quality and talented workforce is no longer sufficient to differentiate themselves from other education institutions” (Social responsibility in education-challenges and perspectives, 2018). This means that every school needs to provide training for their teachers so that they can properly teach students about being socially responsible.
